Me too. But then if my house was being put up for sale I would put the TMX away for the photos as I would hate someone to steal it. :'(

My daughter recently sold her house and one couple came through just to see what that super looking kitchen machine was on the counter.

Very funny.

I spotted a TMX in the background of MKR tonight.  We had recorded it, and were watching and DH paused it for some other reason, and there it was on the bench in the background.  They were cooking in B&B kitchens in the Blue Mountains - it was the Tassie team.

Yes, I saw that TMX too - how lonely that it waiting there, o far from the action, unappreciated.  They could have chopped the leeks wth it and solved their pastry problem if only they'd known.

We have a TV show here on the HGTV channel - the show is "Selling L.A." and shows very high-end homes.  One of the segments showing off a fantastic kitchen had a TM31 on a counter alongside a Viking stand mixer.  They only talked about the built-in appliances (4 ovens, 2 fridges, 2 freezers and 4 fridge drawers plus two warming drawers and 2 dishwashers!) but there was no mention of the small appliances.

It was a 7000 sq ft home with 4 bedrooms, 6 baths, screening room, game room, exercise room, two pools (one shallow kiddie pool) plus a jacuzzi, tennis court and 7-car garage on 1 1/2 acres - $8.245million.
A little shack that would work for me! ;D

Just caught a bit of 'a current affair' - they did a story about feeding families from 1 weekly shop: the "expert" prepared a meal in what was I assume HER kitchen because there was a TMX in the background! She didn't use it, sadly.

What did you think CP. I was quite disgusted to be honest. How dare they have an advertorial for the thermothingy, preying on people who want to lose weight. Many of those people can't afford a thermothingy and will maybe buy one so that they can lose weight.
I think it is good to advertise getting back to basics and cooking healthy things.
Did you notice the woman said you can save $55/week and would pay for the thermothingy in 3 months. Maths is obviously not her strong point.
Also Did you notice the name of the dietician?

Off my soap box now. 🔊🔊🔊

I agree cookie, I honestly thought that its obvious that HO had contacted the TV station. Too many facts they brought up have been repeatedly brought up before on these stories including a magical figure like that that people can save. I'm sick of the same things they make also, and think why can't they come up with something different for dessert rather than sorbet? They always make this cos it's so quick. Now I think that the tv channel must be getting something to run ths story so close to Xmas and not that long after the last story probably a couple of months go. Yes in my opinion it stinks of being an advertorial.

I watched it too, total advertising. Also rhe surname Mazur of the dietician.

Yes I picked up on the maths too ???

Buying a T?m wont mae you loose weight, i think most of us have ganied abit as we can cook whatever we want with ease.

I thought it was bad they preyed on over weight people, people are keen to try anything which they think will work & as cookie says a TM is not a cheap trial for weight loss. Yes you coud loose weight cooking with it but yiu can loose without the TM.
