Title: New jug!
Post by: bron on May 07, 2009, 05:16:36 pm
Am soooo excited as my consultant has just rung me to tell me of a new promotion. New jug, with blades, top, mc and spatula plus a lovely new book...all for 120€. How about that! Bit of a bargain I think! Don't you reckon? What I just need now is to work out how on earth do I hide and save 120€ for the jug without DH knowing! The offer is on till end of June, so maybe if I put away 10 or 15€ a week, he won't notice, what do you reckon? I can always tell him that I won the jug through a THX raffle or something like that ;) ;) ;). What do you reckon? Can it be our little secret? Maybe? Will try anyway!

LOLOL. What a great bargain... Of course you won it in a competition!!! Or you could just say "no new jug, no more cooking"

That reminds me  ;)

In Australia - until the end of May customers who host a demonstration (with 3 new households) can recieve $100 off a Bowl & Blade set (usually worth $395).

But wait... there's more....

IF a guest at your demonstration purchases then you automatically recieve $200 off the Bowl & Blade set.

So call your consultant!!!

For those of you with only one Bowl & Blade sets - I can't tell you enough how useful the second one is!!! :D :D :D :D

Had to google to find out just how much 120€ was (AU$213) so yes, that is cheap Bron.  Couldn't you ask for it for your birthday, mothers' day or Christmas.  Or threaten to 'sell' yourself to earn the money for it ;D ;D ;D - that might work! With all the cooking you do, you deserve another bowl. Hey, pass the hat at work - they love your cooking too.

Bron - I would go on strike or hold the TMX to ransom of a new bowl  ;D :D ;)

Yes, I think that I am going to order it I would be silly not to. But I do think that I am going to keep it quiet and say that I won it as last month there was a promotion on here, youi had to make 5 recipes, photo them and email them to vorwerk, and I did it in record time, the first 50 would receive a book of their choice and a flashy THX apron, so hopefully I have won that as I made the recipes on the first day and emailed them, so I can always say that Vorwerk gave me the extra jug for being soooo  super duper quick! The recipes were all using the varoma, Spaghetti with clams, Cod in Tomato and sauté potatoes, Steamed Apple in Sabayon, Creme Caramel and a Ratatouille Meat Loafy thing (without the meat) and mushroom bechamel,, all very nice but must have cost me about 70€ in ingredients alone!!!!! So maybe that will be gullible enough, as I did it all super quick. Lets keep our fingers and toes crossed that I end up with book (Simply Spectacular) apron and jug!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bron, I'm laughing out loud!  :D :D :D  I love it.  All the best of luck with that one, but by the sounds of it you have it all worked out and won't need any luck.

You go girl!! 8)

 ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

So Bron, when's the 3rd jug arriving?

Well done Bron, with the amount of time you spend in your kitchen with your TMX, you certainly did deserve to win that competition.  Love the idea of the apron - I reckon Thermomixer should buy himself one just to stir up Mrs T ;D ;D ;D  How lucky are you that DH isn't interested in the forum and will never catch you out ;) ;) ;) Of course, thousands of us know about it but we are keeping our lips sealed.

Ooooh JD, I am sooo lucky as he doesn't really speak much English 8) 8)..... ;D ;D ;D so he'll never catch me out!!! Bless him! Sure  I will tell him one day, but just not right now as he's so jealous of my THX! Plus he has put on 4 kilos since I have THX! :-)) :-))

Yes, that can be the downside of the TMX - we are all bound to put on weight if we are that way inclined :'( :'( :'(

Congratulations Bron!! you'll love having that second bowl set!!  ;D ;D ;D
And I must admit how much I admire your scheming!

Next you'll be trying to work out how you can justify your second Thermomix!!  ;) ;) There's nothing more frustrating than wanting to do something else while the TMX is already tied up cooking.  I'm trying to justify to myself that I could purchase my second one for work as a consultant....  on the other hand I have also just committed to a friend that we WILL complete the Paris Marathon in 2011 - so I need to save up for flights too.... But if you knew how un-athletic I am, I think the second THX is a better option LOL  :D :D :D :D

Well I'm off to try my first run.... trying some program I down loaded - couch to kms in 9 weeks....

can't you claim a second thermomix back on your tax though? ;)

Good idea Karen, now I'll just have to convince Mr Swan it's relevant to my profession....

hehe become a TMX demonstrator and you're all set ;) has to be less stressful than coughing and sneezing swine-flu-paranoid people all day  ;D

I think I can claim the tax part of it or something...

Paul, you could always purchase it under your Practice or Business Name - take it to work once a week and cook up lunch for the staff or coffees :-)

Sadly I'm a totally public doctor with a salary, so no business expenses.  Maybe if I make morning and afternoon tea every day....

You know, I just can't see my doctor using a Thermomix but that is probably a good thing because we find enough to talk about now without adding the TMX to the mix. DH & I emerge from his office to find the waiting room full of people due to the fact that a 10 minute appointment has stretched to 20 -30 minutes whilst we solved the problems of the world :D :D :D

Well, I did win a second bowl in the Thermomix in Australia recipe competition for Vegetarian and Meat recipes advertised in the Christmas brochure.

Thanks Tenina and the Thermomix team - it really was a dinky die promotion and hopefully I will be able to highlight the benefits of having two bowls soon.

Unbelievable !!!   Poor Tenina's inbox was a little flooded there for a while with my concoctions - guess she just had to succumb.

I earned a second jug but it didn't come with a second spatula - is that normal because you are all talking about jug basket lid and spatula? Just checking because I assumed I would get a spatula too.

When I got my second one it was just the bowl, blade, lid and mc. No basket or spatula.

I got basket and spatula, how strange! It all comes together in a sealed square box, with everything inside! That does surprise me! Why don't you query it with HQ, as here in Spain it comes complete!
