Hi Ayla,

This recipe is in the vegetarian cookbook:

CADA Breakfast:
• Handful of shredded coconut
• Handful of almonds
• Handful of pitted dates
• 1 apple quartered

These are the quantities in the book and you just pulse it with the turbo button two or three times.

Introduce Yourself / Hello from Victoria Australia
« on: June 03, 2009, 03:44:43 pm »
Hello everyone,

I have been following Cyndi O’Meara (an Australian holistic nutritionist) for three years now and was finally able to see her speak last year. At her seminar she discussed this fabulous kitchen appliance that does everything.  I was finally able to go to a Thermomix demonstration in my area a couple of months ago and that was it, I definitely had to have one.

I am a University student from Victoria studying to be a health psychologist, to work with people with dietary health problems.  Consequently, I am highly conscious of health and nutrition. I also happen to be a coeliac, so this machine has made life so easy giving me the ability to make my own flours from scratch! Further, I now know exactly what is going into my food!

I got my Thermomix last week and have had a ball. So far I have made numerous salads, pad thai, pumpkin soup, vegetable slice, banana cake and sorbet. All my meals have been fabulous successes! I just love my Thermomix and don’t know how I lived without it for the last few years!

Looking forward to learning more from everyone about my fabulous machine, and trying out all the fantastic new recipes!
