Well, they say patients is a virtue! I could not get them to rise well :( I ended up mixing another lot of yeast and adding that and try to get them to prove again. I've never had rising trouble before. Google tells me that cinnamon can kill of yeast and I have a nice fresh batch of organic cinnamon so maybe that is the problem. Anyway they are in the oven so fingers crossed!

Im so excited, I have these rising in the jug now. I just put a wheat bag over the jug as it's a bit cool today and Im impatient! Fingers crossed

Hi, Im jumping in here... I have not been on for ages. I just made JulieO's ice cream (I have actually made lots of it:)) Today I added 7 desert spoons of desiccated coconut for a change.

Great post :) DH love to 'wash' his sinuses and the water is often to hot for me... I will test this recipe out. We just add our own salt to avoid all the other bits in the fess pre made sachets, it really does feel great once you get the hang of it. :)

Hi,
I made some lip balm in my TM using a combination of products including beeswax (mine comes in little beads) and had no trouble cleaning it. I did heat it all then after pouring the product wiped the bowl with paper towel and put it in the dishwasher. All good so far :)

Whilst at my first demo egg shells were used to clean the bowl after cooking custard ... would this work for the scrambled eggs?

I have been making a version of CADA with walnuts macadamia nuts, apple, coconut, cinnamon and dates or figs.
I also add a peeled lemon as it keeps everything fresh for a couple of days. I whiz the dates first to break them up then just add the rest. The quantities vary depending on what I have and what I feel like on the day.
I serve it with my TM yogurt. Yum  ;D

Today I made my second attempt at juicing carrot, celery, ginger and lemon... I is always very thick even though I reduced the vege matter and added water.
My juicer is broken and one of my buying justification for TM was the fact I would not have to buy another Breville juicer, does anyone have any hot tips?

My TM was delivered last Saturday, so far so good!

I was going to buy a Kitchenaid mixer and whilst 'researching' I came across the TM...lucky.
I have made a few things so far that have been OK, my stock is really salty (and I love salt) so I will reduce that next time, and my scone dough was sticky and they turned out a bit heavy, maybe because I added a bit of spelt. I have never been very good a following recipes.
I have been trawling the site over the last couple of weeks and thank everyone for the tip, I look forward to more learning.
