Wow,you sure know how to break a drought. Looks great. Have you seen the donut machine recipe on here

LOL.....well the t.v. wasn't by choice  :-))
Our previous LCD lasted 1 month after the 12 month warranty!......luckily I had paid $90 for extended warranty of 5 years.
Long story short, it couldn't be fixed, so got my money back and  upgraded to a better one and paid the difference.....and purchased extra warranty again  ;)

No, I haven't seen the doughnut machine recipe  8) will have a look......thanks bedlam.

I would never buy a TV without the extended warranty - they have a habit of doing just what yours did.
Mind you, sometimes a nice letter to the manufacturer can work too.  My stainless steel kettle went all rusty around about 1 year old but by the time I got around to doing anything about it, it was out of warranty.  I sent a photo to the manufacturer to show them how bad it was and the bottom line was that they asked for it to be sent back and I eventually received a brand new one.  I wasn't expecting it but it was pretty bad and should have lasted longer than that.

haha now theres an aussi term 'a paddock taxi'...dont think many people would know what a paddock was...kind of like chooks too...knew some expats whose aussie kids were at a foreign school and only called chickens chooks lol anyway nobody understood what they meant...just too much aussie slang!
