I have the same issue and I was wondering if it is over beating once the flour and baking powder are in the batter or if my baking powder is old and the beating kills it?

I have made these twice in two days and I add some parmesan and hadn't noticed the lack of  seasoning which is normally big for me!These are so easy and everyone loves them so I will experiment with different veg and have it as a regular standby dinner!

It seems like a lot of rapadura to me- I find that somehow rapadura seems sweeter in recipes than normal sugar so I use slightly less, I have just made Nigella's chocholic choc chip cookies and that had 12og rapadura(as I made them anyway)and they are very sweet (also they have chocolate in them...) sorry about the ramble but I have a headache! What I am asking is are they extremely sweet? Could I use less rapadura? Chelsea do you get rapadura from Biodistributors?

I am just bumping this as I have made these (although smaller than the recipe) I used 120g rapadura and "only" 220g choc chips and they are the most amazingly divine biscuit I have tasted, not subtle, granted but just luscious and perfect! Thanks for posting this all that time ago!

it's a bit haphazard but sometimes I use a bit of frozen spinach or some greens from the garden (some of the weeds like chickweed, nettles and marshmallow work well too!). It's good to have some strong flavoured fruit, oranges and bananas are good but I have been using frozen blueberries and strawberries and kiwis (no longer green in colour then!) this morning I threw in an avocado and whizzed it all up (with a handful of almonds) for 30 seconds on speed 8. I had to thin the mix down with water so the boys could drink it but they love it! There are heaps of sites out there with great recipes and a lot of people recommend the TM for them as well as a standard blender doesn't make them smooth enough for a lot of tastes.

I had legume trouble too, the tomato lentil pasta in the vegetarian book was bland and really watery and when I make the boys "cheesy pasta" (which is that awful all in one pasta and sauce packet mix) it is all watery and overcooked, I think the TM seems to need less fluid and that pasta cooks faster than usual- has anyone found that?

I have been lurking for a while and realised I had better join and say hullo! My husband rustled me up a TM for Mother's day this year and I adore it! This morning our boys went off to daycare with green smoothies in their tums and I make everything I can from scratch now, peanut butter, tahini etc....
I look forward to reading all the recipes and sharing some too and sharing ideas!
Have a lovely day!
(Oh dear I do sound UP!I blame the green smoothie!)
