As it looked like being a sunny day I washed the last of the linen that mice had been in.

KAtie many years ago when DD was doing her final exams I thought I was quite cool about it. Then later when my Principal met her, he was telling her how stressed I was. So much for keeping cool!
Hang in there.
Chookie I hope your solar goes in soon.
Mab that is a big job finished. Have you caught the mice?

Cookie We all try to be not stressed about year 12 as we know it’s not easy . I do get to stressed but all the time I say to DD that everyone is in the same boat and she is doing an amazing job.
We pushed a lot into yesterday , so DH and I had a cup of tea and a sneaky snowball watching outback truckers after to zone out ! It wasn’t the best episode but still DH likes it .

We enjoy Outback Truckers. If you saw the episode where the Purple Phantom truck took a vintage car up to Perkolilli  near Kalgoorlie, a lot of our club members were in it.  We wanted to go but sadly MIL wasn’t the best at that time. I don’t think I would have enjoyed the dust much.

I did the grocery shopping this morning.

Oh my Cookie yes we did that was so good now back to re watch it , the boys enjoy these shows and quite often they are up well after me laughing.
Yesterday I made the brave move from my iPhone 5 ! and upgraded ... to an 11 pro . From having no camera to this is quite a change. A hiccup was I couldn’t get my emails on my iPad , but all sorted this morning. So I think that was my silver lining and I checked the chooks one egg . It’s been awhile but maybe it’s just being warmer for them to lay . So not bad day well until the covid numbers upped and now whole of Victoria need to wear masks . Although I started wearing a mask  for shopping yesterday .

Poor Victoria.  The numbers are awful. Best to stay at home if you can.
All good here.
Solar installers are coming today, great. Very short notice.
Rals platelets are up.  Even better the Dr now feels confident that he has worked out a process for controlling the fluctuations.
K ATIE, I feel for your DD.  It is a shocking year for all the senior students, parents and teachers. From what you have written, I would say she is doing a lot better than many.  OurGD is also doing year 12.  Among other things she has had a change of Art teacher in the middle of the year. She has also changed the focus of her folio.  I can’t believe it , although this is for the better.

Chookie that must have been hard for your GD but glad it worked out . Yes it’s not easy for school kids even DS did his subject selection for year 10 by a virtual meeting , it was not the best set up as we couldn’t log in but DS stepped up and made his decision done !! Heaven help us with all this online communication, it works but change is not a strong point for me ,although I’m trying to work on it.

I did my grocery shopping this morning then decided to have a look at the new KMart that has opened up.  Most of the shelves were empty so wasn't tempted to buy anything.

Great news about Ral's platelets and, hopefully, a successful treatment programme.

Thanks Marina.
Was really weird today. 3 men installing solar panels with lots of distancing . All done except the wire work.
Mab, glad you have finished the clean up after the mice.

DH wasn’t feeling the best today so I hung around the house. He kept telling me not too fuss! I knew something was bugging him but if I ask he always says he ok. The surgery was booked out but he went on the waiting list. Not our usual GP though. He has to have some blood tests and scans. He can’t get the scans until 11th August.

Wonderful news about Ral’s platelets. Your solar will be saving you money in no time Chookie.

Waiting in anticipation for State Government to tell us to go into more strict lockdown.  We are ok but worry about family in Melbourne.  We talk on phone most days. DIL working from home and cooking.  DS working at home, very busy keeping his team of 20 connected. GC home schooling.  They are coping because their parents are coping.   Wondering how long this will go on.  Looking at next March.
