Well, Thermomix in Germany seems to be having a few problems selling their machines, at least that's what my cynical mind tells me after receiving two phone calls in three weeks from my rep to ask me if I know anyone who is willing to buy a TMX. At first I got an email from the local TMX demonstrator who offers "cookery courses" (no comment) who said that if you can find a new buyer you can get a new jug for 45 Euros and now they've reduced the price to 15 Euros which is a bargain. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone among my friends who is willing to shell out just under 1000 Euros for a piece of kitchen equipment, so I'll just have to make do with my one jug. Maybe there's a German forum member out there who can take advantage of this offer...
In contrast, the TMX seems to be doing very well in Australia ;D

Maybe they've reached saturation point in Germany Vivacity whereas in Australia they've only touched the tip of the iceberg.

Hi! Yes, that's what I think, too. In my area there is a high level of unemployment and people are worried about losing their jobs. A TMX is a luxury - in my opinion - and people here have other things to worry about.

Hi, TMX in Australia is offering a similar deal. If you have a demo and want a second bowl you can have one with $100 off. If someone from this demo buys a TMX, you can buy a 2nd. bowl for 1/2 price. What a shame my DH bought me a 2nd. bowl before Xmas. Could have saved $100. However ,if you can afford to buy a second bowl , and do a lot of cooking, I strongly recommend it.

You can only buy the jug for 15 Euros if you find someone who is willing to buy a TMX.
I wish I could get the Thermoserver here, but they're not available :-\
