The Rosie Effect is wonderful following on from The Rosie Project.

I've just downloaded The Rosie effect, I loved the Rosie project so glad you enjoyed the new one. I'm reading The Husbands secret at the moment, quite easy reading but not bad.

Gert

I wondered what the follow up was like. The Rosie Project was a giggle.

I am laughing out loud at some of Don and Rosie's antics.

Hmm I am knee deep in bureaucratic red tape documents at the moment...... A necessity that I appreciate but do they have to be so monotonous and  mind-blowing patronising :(

That said I guess there are all sorts of scams to get into Australia in exactly the same way as there are for the UK.  Oh well... On on I guess.

Sadly that's life RC. Hopefully they will come to an end soon.

I'm looking forward to reading The Rosie Effect. I loved The Rosie Project. Lots of chuckles as you say Gert. I sort of felt sorry for Don at times.

This is a novel written by a friend of mine here in Perth :)

I am more of an audio book girl but read this one in just under two weeks! A record for me ;)

Thanks Cookie ;). It will be available from November 3rd at Crow books and Nosh in East Vic Park, The book Cafe in South Perth and there is a book shop in Denmark that stocks it also, hopefully more independent book shops will sell it soon too!

I know it isn't 'literature'.   But well worth a read.   Especially if you are going to Tassie.

I downloaded the entire 'outlander' series by Diana Gabaldon on kindle while awaiting my flight from Hobart to Melbourne yesterday.
I have the books apart from the latest one but they are somewhere in unopened  boxes in our garage and Gayle put me in the mood to read them again as she is currently doing the same. Really enjoying the first one as its years since I first read the series and so much easier on kindle as your whole library fits in your handbag as we all know.
Thanks Gayle  ;D

Worth seeing the Outlander series recently on Foxtel.

I really enjoyed the books. Some more than others.

Currently reading Follett's last book in the trilogy...Edge of Eternity.

I read a couple of scurrilous novels by Rebecca Raisin on the plane to and fro. I enjoyed them both.
