Dee dub, it is an unusual book. I really did enjoy it though.

I'm reading" the cruel stars of the night" by Kjell Eriksson.

Cookie it is more like Skipping Christmas than his other books. I did like it.

Whew!  Just finished the mammoth "Dearie" - the biography of Julia Child.
In general I enjoyed it, although the author never used one word when five would do and he concentrated on a great deal of minutae that I could have done without.

Looking forward to a murder mystery now, I think!

No Frozzie it was Jack Reacher. It seemed to me the whole book took place in cars!  We drove all over Nebraska three times at least. Kept going back and forth in straight lines. He never did get to Virginia where he was headed.

After reading this post I bought the first 4 Jack Reacher for my DH for Christmas. Hopefully he will enjoy them.

kerrynN I downloaded the whole series after reading about them on here, I'm up to number 5 and find them an easy read although will probably stop at 5 as I find I get bored with series books after the first few. I'm sure you DH will love them.

I don't enjoy reading series books one after the other. Occasionally I will read two but that is my limit. I then have to read a different genre before I can go back to them.
