DD has netball training tonight so need something easy. I'm defrosting some lamb shank 'stew' (in other words, leftover meat & sauce from slow cooked lamb shanks), will cook up some short pasta to add to it and have it as a thick soup with bread rolls from the freezer. My brother's staying with us tonight, no idea what he'll eat he basically lives on pizzas and hamburgers! If he doesn't want our soup I'll send him to the McRestaurant around the corner.
Last night we had butter chicken...

Congratulation to DS Mich, I've always thought it would be good to have a butcher in the family. What does value add butchering cover?

Value added is where you can buy marinated meats etc. from the butcher. DS won the judges over with a veal lattice strudel.  ;D

Mich, that veal lattice strudel sounds amazing ;D Is there any chance we could see a photo?

I think I'll do Pita Pizzas tonight :)

Mcmich congratulations to your son 👏. Wonderful news

JD, enjoy the sleepover with your GS.

Tonight we are having lasagne from the freezer, it's my last one so I'll have to make up some next week.  Boys are having sausages.

Ricotta gnocchi here, haven't decided on a side yet, and we have bread rolls leftover from lunch.

That is assuming DH gets some more milk on the way home because I'm exhausted and refusing to go to the shops this evening. DS woke in the middle of the night last night, got into our bed (he really likes my giant pregnancy pillow) and went to sleep. I was silly enough to get out of bed to go to the toilet and there wasn't any room for me when I got back! It took me a while to transfer him back into his own bed and I'm paying for it today.

If Dano took a photo of it ( I'm sure he would of, he photographs everything), it would be on facebook. I will ask him. I will post a photo of him receiving his trophy and knives when I get them and hopefully a photo of the strudel.
