ok im not sure how to add a link on this computer ( im on the mac and am used to using my other laptop still )
but anyway if u have facebook and would like to follow my journey with the thermo , click "like " on my page !
its called "Thermo cooking " so u should find it by typing that into the search bar at the top of facebook !
i accidentally created two pages when i was making the account so u need to choose the one that DOES have a profile pic , as i will be deleting the one without profile pic as soon as i figure out how !!!
-
Ok GoneCrazy, will do, I'm on FB every other minute!!

Thanks Opie!!! :-* :-* :-* I've liked your page with my page now too - yay!

I liked the FB Thermomix pages I could find, and I am trying (and struggling) to set up a Thermomix consultant FB page too. Having problems connecting the like button to my recipe blog.
Any advice on how to do this without going totally insane. I'm also trying to avoid reading the page of instructions, as it sounds giberish to me.
Thanks, Cheryl
-
cheryl sorry i cant help with adding the like button i haven't tryed as i don't have a blog or other site to link to !
-
Your 'LIKED' !! ;)
-
45 likes in 3 days :) .....going ok ;)
-
I liked you too
-
thanks GC, I'll look at it again later when I have time.
Has anyone else successfully managed to set up the like button to connect with a web site?
BTW: I set up a Thermomix consultant FB page yesterday
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Thermomix-in-Switzerland/162605450462279 (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Thermomix-in-Switzerland/162605450462279)
but I don't have any "likers" except myself. I invited lots of my FB friends but I guess they're all off skiing or working in the lab and are too busy to check FB. If you have a moment please go to the link and like it.

I see you use blogger, so you need to add a "Configure HTML/JavaScript" gadget in your blog's sidebar, into which you copy the javascript that will be provided to you by the facebook "like" button instructions (found here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/). In Step 1 (in the facebook link provided), copy and paste your Facebook page URL, fill in the remaining details and click "Get Code". Copy the code that pops up in the box in the XFBML section (that's what I did anyway), and paste it into your "Configure HTML/JavaScript" box in Blogger.
You can see how it looks in my blog (link in my footer). I changed the width to 200, unticked show faces, I think I used Arial font and the rest were standard options.
I hope that helps :)

I like you all but I haven't got a clue what you are all talking about :-)) :-)) No need to explain, I am happy in my little world ;)
-
Oh Judy, you do make me laugh!
On Facebook, you can set up pages about anything really, and it's a a very easy way to share your thermomix adventures. People need to 'like' your page to keep up to date, and see the new things you are doing :)
-
:)How popular are you now GC with all these "likers"! I'll call in and visit your FB page from time to time and see what storm you are cooking up. Jenny

OK OK I am added to the LIKE list! I will need all the inspiration I can get .. My new TM (Arnie) is arriving this week .... Soooo excited! :D

Just sent you some PM's on facebook with the links JD ;)
-
You are a sweetie, thanks Kathryn. Had a bit of a browse but it is so time consuming ;) I'd never get anything done if I spent too much time on FB.
-
I like you. Can't wait to read all about your adventures with the TM.

Andrea
I just saw your message now, thanks so much that's exactly the info I need!
On my way to work, so I'll try it tonight.
