Yesterday we had breakfast at a Spanish cafe.  I had eggs poached in a tomato sauce.  I think the sauce was tomato, roasted Capsicum, garle, a little onion and paprika. I am trying to make it.

Blast and damnation!!!!! I am on DD's PC and I touched something and lost my post. I should stick to the ipad.
I made Chookie's rye, seeds. honey etc bread today. I used molasses instead of honey. I have just taken it out of the oven and it looks great.
I also have the SD from Tenina's Insiders club rising. It has been freezing here and it doesn't want to rise. I may have to give it a gentle warm up.

The flavour in this bread is fantastic. Thanks Chookie.

Yesterday I made a pot of soup and a pot of chilli ... it wasn't until the chilli was about done that I realised I had left the chilli out!!!

Made 27 small containers of Quince Paste.  3 ks of Quinces. Most will go back to Creswick, from where the Quinces came.
Today I will start the Quince jelly.

I made some Pumpkin soup that I wasn’t happy with.  I added some soup and Maple Syrup and mixed grain and seeds and made this loaf.

You are so amazing with how you create your recipes.  I would never have thought of using soup whilst making bread ... not that I make bread,DH makes all of ours.

Lots of quince past there Chookie. A brilliant idea to use the soup in the bread. It has a lovely colour.
Marina, I have done things like that.  😀😀

I made some Pear and Cardamon jam and some Date cookies today.

I love the colour of the bread Chookie. Thinking outside the box makes for some interesting creations.

Marina, just didn’t want to waste it, although I reheated some for Dinner and it had improved.  The bread turned out very nice.
The Quince Paste has already started to be claimed.

I also thought of you, Cookie, whilst I was typing up this post and I am always impressed with your talent as well, I guess it was just that incorporating soup into a loaf of bread really struck me as so unusual.

Quince Jelly today.
GS for afternoon tea, might make him pancakes.
Yesterday I roasted pumpkin seeds in soy sauce and when cold added more pumpkin seeds, sunflower and sesame seeds. Good for sprinkling on salads.

Made Tomato soup from the old BCB , it's great made with red lentils . Soup weather , DS will be requesting it for lunches - not this one as he has an aversion to tomato .
