I made the beef rendanf from EDC. Only had about 500 g of beef left so thought I'd add potatoes. I added them at the same time as the beef and they turned to mush!!!! One of my few (so far) TMx disasters. the steamed veggies were nice though.
Can anyone suggest when the potatoes should be added if the beef is got g to be cooking for 50 mins?

How big were the potato pieces GHM?

Perhaps 20 - 30 minutes would have been enough GHM.  It wouldn't have been a disaster surely, wouldn't the mushed potato just thicken the gravy.  Probably not the look you were after but the taste should have been OK.

Well the plan was rack of lamb....but I didn't plan it too well, as I forgot to take it out of the freezer  :-))  I might have to do a gentle micro defrost.

Grayhoundsmum,  I think I would have steamed the pot in the Varoma.

Tonight, Tasmanian Salmon in Lemon and Caper Sauce.  Posted.
Mashed pots and Silverbeet from garden.

You will be fine deedub, never had a failure yet.  I have a piece in the fridge to do but the new challenge has put it on the backburner till later in the week as I still have leftovers to get through.

I did my silverside like this last week and it was a big success.

Tonight was mixed leftovers. DH bribed the kids to clean their rooms yesterday whilst I was at work with the promise of takeabway Shri Lankan last night, and there was some leftover. He also bought some leftover Chinese home from work today. I cooked some plain rice, Nd steamed some veggies, dim sims and dumplings ( that had been in the freezer) in the TC. It was yummy, and there is just enough left over for my lunch tomorrow. ;D
Just as well, as I got caught up wrapping my goodies for the retreat, and hadn't started cooking dinner before DH got home from work....
