Yes we are in for a very busy time . We have ordered a skip for Monday and will start a big clear out of our storage and garden sheds.

Great holiday but nice to be home. Garden didn't suffer too much from heat. Picked first Kohlrabi and will have fun experimenting with cooking it.

Good morning everyone.
We went to Kings Park last night for a picnic with a group friends. What a perfect most beautiful place to spend an evening. For anyone who has not been to Perth. It is a huge park high up, overlooking Perth and the Swan River.
It has been so hot here, but when we got to the Park at 5 it was beautiful. We sat and chatted, ate lovely food and had a couple of drinks. We didn't leave till 10pm and there were still approx 200 ppl still spread around the park enjoying the cool air. There were families of all different nationalities enjoying the beauty, and peaceful surroundings.it reminded us how lucky we are to be living in oz.

It snowed very lightly last night.Our GS who stayed with us last night was very excited when he woke up.He loved making footprints in the snow LOL.Its all melted this afternoon.

Katj, know what you mean about King's park.  Beautiful.  When we were at FF in Perth, CP took us to Kings Park. It is something we will always remember.

 We do live in a great country, just need to appreciate it more sometimes.

soaking up the sun just being with the kids is great. lots of beach walking and swimming, and no cooking for a week.
