Hi friends.
No rain here (yet) today :) I've been noticing that the spring bulbs are pushing through the ground.Chance is reminding me it's getting near his walk time. ;D

Good Morning  ;D

It has stopped raining here and the weather forecast is sunny and 34. We need to start drying out.

Good morning everyone, hoping for the best for all those who live in areas of heavy rainfalls. I hope you haven't suffered any damage to property.

Morning all, what terrible weather we are having floods and fires. Going to be a hot one here today, it's 7 am and it's 27 already. I'm just about to put the last of the cup cakes in the oven, I offered to make cupcakes for  DD 40th birthday. I only need 45 decorated in Great Gatsby theme. Think it might have been easier to make a cake. I've made the cake topper during the week.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Looks great Jen, hot to be baking. 39 forecast!
DD stuck in Bunbury, out of control fire in Waroona, lots of road closures.  Stay safe anyone impacted.
Glad it has stopped raining Mich and Uni.  What weird weather this year.
Stay safe everyone and enjoy your day if possible.
Denise

Great tops, I guess that was the easy part.  Good luck with the baking on such a hot day Jenny.

I've got the grandies here so I haven't seen any reports of the fire today Denise but heard about the Waroona fire yesterday.  I hope everyone is in a safe place.

Fires South west of Perth are just said to be out of control.
My SIL's Nanna lives in Preston Beach, one of the evacuated regions. Fortunately she was in Perth yesterday, it was SIL's 40th and we all went out for dinner, and She spent the night at DD & SIL along with SIL's mum.
Highway is closed so they won't be going home any time soon. So thankful she was up here in Perth, as she doesn't drive and lives alone.
We are hoping for a good outcome in this terrible situation, it's only a couple of months ago my DS & BIL lost their farm in the Esperance fires.
I am totally over Summer this year!
