Have made 'flat' rolls for Maddy's chicken caesar buns for lunch. (we don't worry about the fish today) and will make some dip soon as my brother is coming.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

A loaf of bread, a bucket of Bol. sauce as the kids are coming and corned beef in the crock pot.

Quiet day today but felt like making something - did MJ's Passionfruit Slice and Tenina's Caramelized White Chocolate from the recent Adelaide cooking class.  Not sure if I should have cooked it even longer because shh, Tenina's failed on the day due to the type of chocolate which was bought for her to use so therefore we didn't get to see the finished product.  I used Lindt white chocolate and it worked beautifully, very pleased with it even though I did forget to put the vanilla paste in at the end  :-))

I'm still learning to cook with my Thermomix! Today I made another batch of hot cross buns and my first attempt at potato, bacon & leek soup. Way too salty, I think I put to much stock concentrate in it!

Gretchen, the other day I thought I must stop making sweet things but how can you when there are so many lovely recipes out there and if we just eat a little at a time, it can't do much harm can it  :-))

Kaz, you are probably right there and remember bacon is fairly salty as well.

Judy, Judy, Judy, is there any chance I could have the choc recipe please.  I know someone who I could make it for (and I wouldn't mind a bite myself, looks so good.   ;D)

That is true but even my husband too would take just one bite. I have no one here to give to either which is a shame as I would love to make and share. I probably buy more salt than sugar. Savory is more my thing.

Have had a busy couple of days.  Made Maddy's mums meat slice which was far too big for just the two of us so had to freeze half, a large lasagne for when the grand kids come next week, this is also in the freezer.  Tried monkeyboyzmum's cheese sauce for the lasagne and will be using this again and again it is so tasty.  Some bread using a bread mix I haven't tried before.  More scones and got it right this time.  Some of DH's favourite cookies non TMX.  Today it will be the Swedish Icecream Cheese Cake for the freezer and then tomato relish on the stove.  A friend arrived yesterday with about 6kgs tomatoes and asked if I could use them.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
