Chicken schnitzels and vegetables ......... made at home this time.  After our expensive night out last week eating schnitzels at the local pub, we are doing the budget version this week!

Funny I looked at that recipe tonight amy but didn't have everything.

I would highly recommend it DJ ;D

Thanks Gert & Amy :)

Amy, its a dish from Argentina, its from a book I bought in Hawaii, The Cook & The Butcher. It tasted great, different, but also quite good for you with all the greens.

 :)

Aha, thanks Hally :) I might try and find a recipe because it looks great! :D

Amy, I can bring the book to the retreat. It has some great recipes. Tomorrow we are having a pork dish, today I have to marinate & leave overnight.

Thanks for reminding me about dinner, just got chicken breasts out of freezer. Not sure what I'm doing with them yet though. Maybe honey mustard chicken, or curried chicken, or chicken Kiev etc.

Oven roasted chicken marylands with lemon, garlic and rosemary serving with Briam ( Greek baked Vegetables) similar to ratatouille. All prepared ready to go in oven tonight as babysitting some of my GC'S today including a 2 year old and 6 month old baby.

Tea, oops forgot all about it :-))  Busy doing other things, getting things organised for my house cleaner and will be going to a meeting this afternoon.
Quick look in the freezer, grabbed the first thing I saw and tonight we will be having fillet steak with vegies.

I converted my loose recipe for spinach and cheese pie and made the whole thing in the TC. It's one of those recipes that I've never written down and varies, dependant on the ingredients I have to hand.  Paris Creek Quark was on special at the market this week, and the rainbow chard is going great guns in the veggie patch. Mind you, I gave up on DS tonight and he had baked beans , toast soldiers and salad for dinner. I had expended so much energy on getting him to do homework, that I couldn't face a battle over dinner. Sigh
