I did my grocery shopping this morning.
At 8.30 am I popped down to Aldi as they had an electric roti maker listed as one of their special buys. I’ve been watching out for one of these for some time. I don’t want to pay a lot for one as it wouldn’t be used that much. However they hadn’t arrived. I will keep an eye out for them. If I miss one I will keep waiting, it doesn’t hurt me to roll them out.

They are gorgeous Judy .
Been a little distracted here . We have been lamb marking for a few days ! dS and DH have been out at 6 , yesterday me too till 1pm , I had had it as in rather tiered . Helped shift the ewes and lambs up to the shearing shed yards . Pushed them up the run to draft the lambs off . Contractors did the job !! Well a few lambs missed out they are mixed up in another mob !! But all went well . DS the day before shifted them 6-9am on line learning till 2.30 then drove into town to have his second Phizer .. I then did a quick shop then I drove home . We had not stopped all week parent teacher interview one arvo for a few hours . So my absence was as I said stupidly busy.
Today DS is doing his last online learning day at home .. happens to be Rist so big day . Then back boarding on Sunday .. very excited for him as at lest he will get time with his mates and other humans than us . Although he will only have Thursday Friday face to face !! Thinking the food consumption will be far less and DH and will have the first time in months on our own .

Thanks K Atie, they keep me busy. On your own for a change, will be nice and DS will love being back with his mates as well.

Last 2 days hectic with installation of new ovens.  First electricians then builder.  All in now.
Cookie, is that a sausage roll maker?  Yesterday I had some Trout Mornay and noodles left over.  I used the Sausage roll make to make rolls. Also banana and honey ones. I like it better than the pie maker as it uses a whole sheet of pastry with no trimmings.

No Chookie it is a roti maker. Your new ovens sound fantastic.
Trudy enjoy your little break.
I went up to the Westfield this morning. DD was working again (not happy, 2 weekends in a row) as she wanted me to pick up something for her.

My GD discovered that my toilet was leaking last night so today I put my plumber’s hat on, removed the pipe with the rubber thingy on it and went to Bunnings to find the correct replacement. $4.65 and half an hour later I succeeded in my mission albeit not an easy job. My plumber Dad would have been proud of me.

Impressive Judy , you will be sub contracted out to all .
We went out to the new farm today DS used his digger to pull out a rose bush and a old bottle brush bush tree! He Also picked up large garden edge rocks too easy . They were blocking light into the house so pleased as punch for clearing the area . I just pulled a few weeds , was meant to prune up the roses , but MILs Secateurs were blunt ! Home to cooked scrambled eggs for the boys and DS to pack . DS drove to boarding house , he whipped the Ls off quick smart when we got there ! Teens really. A quick shop and home to an empty house. Please for DS to catch up with mates , talk to other people other than us .

Judy, you are amazing. Well done.
KAtie, it is so important that the kids to socialise.  They are funny with their driving practice.
We haven’t been out for weeks ( except for Ral’s bold test. ) but my printer has run out of pink ink and won’t work without it. Quick trip to Office Works.
More testing of ovens.  Love the warming drawer. Yet to cook something in it.

Thank you ladies, it’s amazing what we can do if we set our mind to it. K Atie I’d gladly help out my female friends who live alone if the need be, having done one would make it easier next time. Apart from it costing very little, the problem can be fixed far quicker than you can get a plumber out.  How long do the kids have to stay on their L’s?

Cooking in the warming drawer Chookie? Many years ago I had a warming drawer in one of my ovens but it was only for warming the dinner plates, obviously they’ve changed a lot over the years if you can now cook in them too.

Well done with the plumbing Judy.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
