Spanner - you should give it a wash out with vinegar and water - the consultants will tell how.

BTW - congratulations  ;) ;)

yep ... it was washed and dried and then put in to imediate service.

The rissotto was fantastic. oh I did follow the recipie though.

I think the kids want some sorbet now so will see how that goes.

Night all.

I converted a SFI recipe the other day and rushed to cook it this morning before going out for the day. Mistake No. 1 - don't rush anything.  I had to saute the onion, add curry power and saute that, add stock and chicken and cook that.  Mistake No. 2 - I forgot to turn the heat on :-)) :-)) :-)) I suddenly noticed there were no lights and realised I had done everything to that point in a stone cold TMX bowl.  After that I just threw the rest of the ingredients in and cooked it (with heat) for 30 minutes.  Surprise, surprise - it was delicious and I will post it later in the soup section.  If I had bought my TMX yesterday I could have understood but I've had it since last October and should know better. I checked my conversion notes and I had left the temperature out - stupid me  8) 8)

Don't worry JD - it happens to all of us (doesn't it guys  ;) ;) ;) ;) )

It really does happen to me every now and then - and I'm embarrassed to say its usually with the beef strog. (where's that blushing emoticon??)   :-[ :-[  You would think I'd learn.  :-)) :-))

And occassionally it's even happened at a demo....  :o :o (now we need the crawling under the table and hiding emoticon!).
