Lovely meal with guests at 2 nd choice of Restaurant. The meal was very good and the staff were very good as our guests were late. Unavoidable. We talked flat out for 3 1/2 hours.

Cookie, that is completely unacceptable. As I have got older I don’t stand for any crap like that. I am very glad that you will sort them out.  No doubt they will have some excuse.

Lovely weather here also. We are enjoying our morning teas on the veranda.

Obbie, big job but nice.

Good morning everyone, warm one here.  Even the dogs slowed down quicker this morning on our walk. Washing all their bedding now, have done the floors and they can stay outside now until they’re picked up.

I have calmed down a lot re the wheelchair. I will be reviewing my letter that DH is signing as it's his Mum.
It will say the same thing but in firm, no nonsense terms instead of the words of an angry DIL. 😀😀

It's another lovely day here. We are off another little jaunt tomorrow. Out to Hyden, then down an unsealed road for about 300km to Norseman. The scenery is apparently spectacular out there. Then down to Esperance for a bit, Albany and then home.

Beautiful Spring weather.

Cookie, love the trips that you take. Enjoy.  Don’t cool off too much . Good to let them know you keep an eye on things. Have been some very bad reports of Victorian nursing homes.

The Bee people came yesterday to inspect our place to see that it was suitable for the hive.  It will be arriving after dark during this week. The hive needs morning sun and afternoon shade.
They said the Ballarat bees are tough little girls and can stand our cold weather.

Judy, nice to get the house back in order.

Ooooo be nice to have a hive  and doing something nice for the hard working beds.

Last night and hopefully some more today, the rain finally came. A blessing after many months with not a drop. Everything was dusty and dry. Seems the air is a bit cleaner this morning.

Disgraceful cookie but your trip sounds lovely. I would like to go to Esperance one day.

Gert, that is interesting. I always imagine Cairns as hot and wet.

Good morning everyone.
Rain is the nicest thing after going without it Gert, everything seems so much fresher after a good fall.
The bees will be very happy on your property Chookie.
That was a long outage Robyn.
Enjoy the week ahead folks.

Good morning everyone.  A little bit foggy this morning, a warm day to follow.
Enjoy your trip Cookie.  We loved the Esperance and Albany areas.

Cairns is almost always hot but we have two seasons only.   The Wet and The Dry. The Wet season usually starts about Nov. The coolest night (in my bedroom)  in the past six months was 23.6. A wee bit cooler outside. The temp rarely went below 26 during the day.
