Thanks, Gert, for posting the review. I shouldn't have read it though. Now I'm wishing for one!!

Someone mentioned that the unit shouldn't be moved about. That makes it tricky as my kitchen is small. Is it ok to move it back to storage when not in use?

Re the front loader vs top loader washers on page 705 i found out something about my Samsung 10kilo front loader on the weekend. You can stop the wash and open the door after starting. Just press pause and wait about a minute and the door will open.

Wonder and can't remember who else has this machine, you might already know this but if not hope this helps.

Our previous machine (not Samsung) did that too Yvette.  I haven't tried yet with our new one yet, but starting to wonder if that "problem" is a bit of a myth! 
I rarely get to the bottom of the washing basket, so finding a stray sock after 5 minutes isn't much of an issue here anyway - it just adds to the heap.

Thanks Yvette, I actually tried to stop the machine yesterday by turning the power button off but the door lock symbol stayed on, so I'll know for next time now. My old Whirlpool you turned the power off and waited 5 minutes and it would open.

BZB, I think you are fine to move in and out of storage but you just need to be careful because there is coolant inside the machine. It's a heavy machine though so you wouldn't want to have to carry it far.

I keep mine on the floor of the pantry. It is heavy but it doesn't come out too often in this house. It takes us a while to eat a batch of icecream.

I've moved my ice cream machine into the laundry, it now sits on top of the bar fridge, right next to the deep freeze.

So excited I bought Nico Morretti book Food For Friends which has been revised and now has the thermomix method on the same page as the recipe. Just had a quick look before wrapping up to put under the tree  , just waiting for Tenina book to arrive and I will be set for me now to work out what everyone else is going to get

well I had 3 days shopping in Brissie, bought heaps of clothes, magazines, christmas presents for kids, great shoes for me.Very happy, now back at work.
