Title: Hello from Yorkshire
Post by: anniebygaslight on April 18, 2014, 08:13:24 am
Hi everyone

Am beyond excited! I went to a Thermomix demo a few days ago and  was blown away by the versatility of the machine. The sorbet  was the clincher. It was heavenly! Am going to place an order after the Easter Weekend.

Any tips for gluten free cooking with the Thermomix gratefully received. :-)

Annie x

Welcome Annie. I have moved your introduction to here so that more people will see it and welcome you. Have a look through the forum in Special Diets and I am sure you will receive help there.

Hello Annie, welcome to the forum.  Have a good look around the forum and by the time you receive your TMX you will know exactly what you want to cook.  The UK Thermomix site has some great recipes as well.

It is easily done I know.  :D I moderate a forum and once managed to delete an entire section when  chatting on the phone and trying to delete some very rude spam.  Multi tasking is beyond me!

Where to start?  Fruit sorbet and asparagus rissotto  take my fancy .  I've also ordered the Gluten Free  cook book  and have been stocking up on all sorts of weird and wonderful grains as I want to  make my own gf bread.

Well, it's here!  I made the sorbet and risotto which were absolutely amazing.  I also made some  non gf bread for the family and they said it was lovely, so all in all I'm very pleased.
