Gert it wizzes round on the tiles and picks up dust, hair and especially for us budgie feathers. It doesn't prevent you having to sweep but picks up the bits you miss.

I love it. However I did read somewhere that it is out of production and you can't buy refills. I won't be impressed if this is the case.

Not exactly shopping, as I didn't buy it - but my copy of UK book The British Isles on a Plate arrived on Friday. Richard ordered it when he was in the UK and had it sent to his friends, who posted it to him. Technically it's part of my Xmas present, but I'm allowed to have it now.

It's a great book, I like how it's actually has a hard cover unlike the soft cover type books Australia HO have been producing lately.  So many great recipes I'd love to cook and eat. Looking forward to making something from it when it's not so hot here in Adelaide.

Nice gift, Katie, I'm sure you will put it to good use.  I see CC has been busy posting quite a few reviews from that book as well.  There may be a rush of orders from Aussies with UK connections after we start reading your reviews!

I also look forward to more reviews from this book from Aussies who have it.  Denise has done a great job.  Perhaps if everyone contacts our HO in Perth they might get it in, worth a try.

I had an enormous surprise this morning. I had emailed Sabco asking where was the best place to buy refills for the RoboSweep. Their reply said they would love to send me some for FREE. I am absolutely amazed. Not only amazing service but a freebie as well.
Go Sabco.
