Nice to see you back Uni. :) Sorry to her of Frank's illness :(

We just had soft boiled eggs and toast soldiers tonight - too hot to cook :P

That's a real shame about frank. All the effort hasn't been wasted...he looks fit as a fiddle (you look well too uni). Lovely photos.
We had a BBQ and salad for Christmas Eve dinner.

I cooked a traditional Turkey roast dinner with roast potatoes and steamed vegetables. Dessert was Chocolate Soufflé puddings with ice cream or clotted cream or both ;)

... would you believe a bowl of cornflakes!  Sad, isn't it, but there were just no energy reserves left to make anything that took any sort of effort.

Was supposed to be marinated chicken breasts on the bbq, salad and chips.
It's the first time we have put up the annex on our new to us van. 2 hours later,it was up after several redos. Both DH and I were a bit tired so ordered pizza. At least we had a voucher from the entertainment book.

Oh dear mich, you did well to persevere. I would have given up after 1hr and gone to the pub. Last night was pizzas using jamberie's fluffy bases and shredded Christmas ham. Tonight cookies chicken and bacon macaroni cheese using leftover Christmas turkey.
