Chookies creamy vegetable soup and herb twist bread thingy. Thought I would be clever and purée the soup as we don't like chunks. Tasted beautiful but looks a bit like veggie stock paste!

Kim I'm licking my iPad screen. That looks perfect for my dinner tonight.
I've been out all day again, so no home cooking.

The soup was delicious Judy and much better than stock paste! My bread thingy is inspired by this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PZm4aNDVWvU
It's like making scrolls but not cutting all the way through. I roll out my bread dough into a rectangle and spread with filling (we like blitzed up herbs, garlic and cheese and a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce) roll up like Swiss roll.  Using scissors snip dough on an angle not all the way through and twist cut pieces upright. Let rise then bake. Here is s better photo of one.

plus 2 of Chelsea's apple tea cakes (on here plus in Devil cookbook)

Should do next weeks lunchboxes before the school holidays!! - tho has hardly made a dent in my apples .... I have 4 buckets and two big bags of them inside, plus a tree loaded!! Not called apple isle for nothing  ;)
