Made Trudy's Lemon Muffins. Made 12 large ones.  I think they are more cake than muffin, but still delicious.  Thanks Trudy. GC loved them.
Also made Pear and Gingerbread pudding.

Sounds delicious Chookie. Is the recipe for pear and gingerbread pudding on the forum?

It was great reading this thread!
Not only a lovely sounding pudding as pears come into season.
But an historic account of a time when achoockwoman posted one of her first photos!
I must try the recipe

Your muffins and pudding both sound nice Chookie.

Cookie your hot cross buns and bread look good.

I have Kimmy's Boiled Fruit Cake in the oven at the moment.  I am hoping it will be ready before we have to leave for a friends 80th birthday party lunch.  The family are coming tomorrow for lunch so I am going to make some hot cross buns and leave them in the fridge over night and then cook them tomorrow.  I'll also make a trifle when we get home this afternoon.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

DIL Wendy and GC have made Gingerbread Easter rabbits, eggs and other interesting shapes.
I have made Chicken and Leek pie from Chip. We are having pies made to order. Some  Beef and Stout with pastry or potato tops and/or Chicken and Leek with pastry or potato topping.
More warmed Pear and Ginger pud.
CC, thanks for doing the link.

I'm making a Herb and Garlic Pull apart from the old Festive Book. Lasagne is nearly ready, just have to make the lasagne sheets.

The pear and ginger pud made 12 serves.  Has been handy as reheats well in microwave.

Yes cookie, I froze 2 lots of the curry and 3 bags of rice separately. I always like to have bags of rice in the freezer, it makes great fried rice or a quick base for a saucy meal.
