At least he is coming home Chookie. It would have been very disappointing for you both but today is here. I hope it all goes well.

Chookie so glad Ral is home with you . All that support will be great . We had a log book that ment that anyone coming to house to care for mum wrote in it so knew names and medication etc and then we all new what was going on , helps so much for you and your DD to keep track and everyone knows what is going on . We also had masks and hand sanitizer at the front door . Big hugs to you all .
Trip home was long but up and out yesterday to DS Hockey event , Two hours two teams men’s and women’s current players versus old Collegians . Teams of twenty . Great day lots of fun and great playing . Headed home to regroup and felt very strange but get ready to go to a Gala Ball for school , DH even hopped off the seeder. We were a little late but 300 of us talked and danced the night away !! I have never been so cold ( marquee in the oval ) homeward bound in pea soup fog all the way .. DH and I were both on lookout as not able to see half a car length in front , watching out for kangaroos and cars , it was bad but made it home . Great night just a tad sleep in and DH out seeding , burning off paddocks , seeding again . I managed to go to DS normal hockey game this arvo ... home in the dark . Crazy yes but after two years of not being able to watch what few games they had it means we treasure each one . Not much of a voice today , not use to yelling above a eight piece band . Hope this makes you all laugh because it’s nuts . Most amazing sunny days but freezing nights 2 degrees last night .

Chookie, I am so glad to hear that Ral is finally home and that you are going to have some support.  We are sending out hugs to both of you.

Katie, you lead such a busy life but good that you have been able to get out and enjoy yourself

Well not so tough , I slept today in front of the fire . Realised needed to feed chooks it was late like 4.30 . Fluffy the cat followed me and I was talking on the phone to DD . Huge tiger snake basking in the sun by the tin shed , fluffy went straight for it ,I grabbed her she scratched me and dashed away . At the same time I’m yelling snake to DD ( who rang DH ) . The snake went under the shed . So heart rate was given a boost . Locked kittens up , let them out after dark . No more Excitement please .

I hate snakes. Fortunately its too cold here for them at the moment.

I'm feeling a little down today. My closest girlfriend died suddenly  on Sunday night. She was 71.

That’s so sad cookie. I lost my childhood friend over 15 years ago and she is still constantly in my thoughts.

This afternoon I went to the movies with a friend to see The Drover’s Wife.

Sorry to hear you sad news, Cookie, I am sure you will miss her terribly.

Hectic day at work, one of my colleagues tested positive for COVID .. he is our first one to go down since the pandemic began, so we have been pretty lucky.  So far everyone else is testing negative on their RATs.  Finger crossed that that remains the case.

Cookie, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, it's hard I know but just remember all the good times you had together.
