Our last lot of visitors arrived yesterday so we took them up to the top of Mt. Alexander last night for a picnic and today we are off up to Echuca with them to have lunch on a paddle steamer as it travels up the Murray River.  Going to be a hot one out there today.

Marina, it will be warm at Echuca today, but still nice on the river.
CC, the Crystal Rose bowl was a gift from the School council when I retired.
More time in the garden today. It is warming up now.

Good morning everyone.  You're making short work of that garlic Chookie, almost there.
Have a lovely day at Echuca today Marina, your visitors will enjoy it.

Marina I really love the paddle steamers up at Echuca. I've been on all of them but the old, hot one ( I think it is called Pevensy) is my favourite. It was used in All the Rivers Run. Echuca has so much history.
Have a lovely day. It's going to be 41 here today so I'm off early then home to the air con.

I won't be doing anything much again today - have been in hospital with severe abdominal pain, they thought it was appendicitis, then decided it wasn't, then finally after 4 days of being there in so much pain they decided to do a laparoscopy, in which they found a range of gynaecological problems plus....appendicitis. :(
So they look out my appendix while I was on the operating table, and I will need more surgery at a later date for my other problems :(
Very very sore today, but so glad to be home again :)

Astarra, so sorry to hear that you are not well, please take it easy and rest up.

Sorry to hear this Astarra. No comfort but very common in women late twenties/early thirties.
You are a young woman with 4 children, 5 pregnancies. Gynae problems often arise.

Echuca was roasting, but lovely.  We were on the Emmylou as well, but did see the Pevensey tied up.

So sorry to hear of your troubles, Astarra, that all sounds so painful and uncomfortable.  I do hope you are beginning to recover and that your future procedures are successful.

Finished the garlic last night. Made 12 packets, put some whole bulbs aside for friends.
