Did a sleep study last night - not a lot of fun, at least it was the last 'event' for a very busy few days.

DH saw the eye specialist this morning. No apparent cause for his ‘bung eye’ several weeks ago. Then he had a meeting at Optus stadium for Nasho Fair Go and then this evening he had a meeting with an estate agent. I goofed off at home. I was busy doing very little. 😀😀😀

Margaret that is sad. 🥹🥹
DD and I went to the Royal Show I thoroughly enjoyed it. 3 young lasses were at a thermomix display. I spent some time chatting to them. One was a business manager or something and kept trying to make me say es to be a consultant. Not my thing. She has asked me to chat to a group about bread making and sourdough. I said I’ll think about it. It would be at HO..

Mab, sorry to hear that.
Cookie, how exciting.  Go talk about bread if you feel like it. You certainly know a lot. I’m sure you would inspire them.
Yesterday was very full. DS and GC came from Melbourne to visit. I got up early and prepared the makings of make your own pizza for lunch. Also prepared waffle batter for morning tea. Massive bowl of berries for Sweets. None of this happened because as they walked in the door, they said Farmers market is on, want to go?
I have been in Ballarat for 8 years and have never been to the market. It was great. We all had fun. We all had a sausage in bread and I had a coffee. They ate donuts. I talked to a stall holder who makes her own Brioche pastries and people who sell kits to grow exotic mushrooms.  No one wanted lunch when we arrived home. Had waffles for afternoon tea.
My next door neighbour arrive home from OS. Very ill. I asked if she needed anything. She asked for a honey sandwich. She lives by herself and no sound from her all day. I was worried and called a friend who knows her and is a nurse. We finally aroused her and she was very ill. Took her to the hospital where she was admitted. Think she has Pneumonia.
Friend came for a late dinner. We ate the pizzas and fruit salad.

Chookie that is one busy day full of joy and kindness. Hope your neighbour get better soon . Must do pizzas for DS , might get him to do the shopping for them and even make the bases ! Mind you he has his head in the books studying now so I best do it as a treat for him . Trying to get him to think about cooking and the cost , so he can feed himself later on . Did some washing and cooked food for the men. We did a photo shoot for DS Vis Comm , might have do another today . DS took the drone out to go over the canola in yellow flower .

That was a very enjoyable morning with family Chookie, surprised you haven’t been there before this. Thank goodness for good neighbours like you, living alone we need people to keep an eye out for us and pick up on warning signs. Wishing your neighbour well in her recovery.

Cookie, can’t wait to read of your decision, will you or won’t you I wonder. It may lead to bigger and better things if you are willing to go down that path.

K Atie, good on you for educating DS in life after living with parents. A man who can look after himself is always appreciated by a future wife, one who has been spoilt rotten by his Mum usually expects to be treated the same by his wife.

Thanks for your +ve comments re talking about bread. Im still thinking. I certainly dont want a tmx career, im far too busy being retired.
Our very dear friend who we bought the last car from is in hospital. Very sad. His DD has said they will be sending him to rehab, which is wonderful. She is a bit upset as his DIL has been in and throwing her weight around as if he has died.

Chookie I’m pleased that you checked on your neighbour, poor lady.

I had a quiet day . The moment I got up my knees hurt , walked outside a fare bit to get them going . Heat packs . So I sat and did some clothes repairs and listened to an audiobook book “Duck a la orange for breakfast “ romantics food novel . Why do my knees hurt ! I’m just not that ready for aging yet . I kept putting washing on the line and moving around as much as I could. DS studied and did get a moment to dig a hole with the digger think they are practicing for fencing.
