Your DH must be a very social person Marina.  I'm sure your guests will bring a plate but hopefully you have a shop nearby where you can top up your supplies. I like to be organised well in advance so I would freak out if it was me LOL.   Have a great night.

That sounds like a great kit Chookie and teamwork is a wonderful thing.

Marina, what a job cleaning windows. Ral has a commercial kit for cleaning windows. Special detergent and a plastic sponge on a long pole. He washes and I follow with the hose. All clean no streaks. Can only do the outside like this. It takes us less than an hour at Cherokee. Haven't tried Invermay yet.

I AM JEALOUS!!!

I've got quite a good combination here, still not much fun, but I don't do it so often that it's a problem.  I have a commercial cleaner do our shop in Melbourne though.

I'm jealous Cuilidh. I would love to have a window cleaner.

Over the last couple of days I have been cleaning out the sideboard and rearranging things as well as washing glass wear and cleaning some silver that badly needed some TLC.  Next I will be onto one of my cupboards that always seen to get in a mess.

I can't find something I need Margaret so I'm going to have to go through all my cupboards until I find it, tidying and culling as I go.  It's a never ending job, I always seem to be doing it.

It's amazing how things can get cluttered. When we shifted here we had lots of cupboard space. We seem to have filled it up.  It needs a good throw out. I'm going to start by doing my make up and my shoes.

Today DD and I went shopping. She bought a new iPad Pro. It's brilliant. She was able to set it up, something I could never have done.

Nice way to start the new year by cleaning out the cupboards.
It is the plastics cupboard that gives me the most trouble.
Judy, you will be amazed at what you will find.
Today, Ral and I are going to attack the Rose garden at the front of the house. Then we will see what we can do with the destroyed igloo.
Will try and find time to post Ham Pate recipe.

When we shifted in March to our forever home we threw out heaps. I still have a little cupboard space left but I'm determined I am NOT going to fill it!
I can't even remember what was given to Salvo's or Good Sammy. Shows how insignificant 'stuff' becomes.

This morning I attacked my wardrobe, discarded 16 pairs of shoes and have bags of clothing/shoes for the charity bin. I only have to do the top shelf in the wardrobe then the drawers in 3 tallboys and 2 bedside cupboards.  I was more ruthless than ever today.

I'm hoping to get to my shoes. I did the wardrobe not too long ago. I know I'll have just as many as you Judy as I don't wear heels any more. I've been hanging on to a couple of pairs thinking i will wear them.

Love all the cleaning and purging. I bought a stack of magazines to go through and take out the recipes I want to make. May just put them all in the rec room here as I don't cook from all the recipes I have.
Yesterday went to Uralla and drove along waterfall way. Lovely country town.
Saw bush ranger Thunderbolt's grave.

Having a lovely time away and glad I'm not boring you all.

Hope your mum picks up Robyn. Don't they live next door to you any more or is that the inlaws?
