Thank you Chookie, CC and Mich. Chookie I have broken the bone that goes down from your little toe, it is broken just under the ankle. The doctor said it was very common. Hopefully after a few days it won't be as painful. I want to get cooking.
Chookie I will cross my fingers for a positive outcome at Cherokee too.

Cookie - Don't know if it's still relevant but breaks use to be - rest, Ice, Elevation.

Yes Mich. Still relevant. That is exactly what the doctor prescribed, for a few days at least. I was booked in to have my flu needle on Thursday so I guess he will look at it again then.

What a bummer cookie, sorry to hear that news. It's going to slow you down for a while and I know you will not be very happy about that.  I hope you have plenty of books to read and will do the right thing.

I'm glad you and the oven are on the right page now Chookie and good luck with the latest viewing.

That's not so good, Cookie.  Do take care and get plenty of rest - no gold stars for you if you are up and about too soon, just take it easy and allow that bone to heal.

Chookie, good news that you and your oven are now starting to understand each other and the very best of luck for a positive outcome with the viewing.  It was a beautiful day for it.

Sorry to hear of your broken foot Cookie. When is your trip to Darwin? I hope this won't interfere with your preparations too much. Lucky you have a good practical DH and a DD to help out when needed. Take care!

I took oldest 2 GK's to see Zootopia yesterday. 5 yo GS loved it and sat glued to his suit the whole movie. GD 3 was very unglued. Couldn't sit still, wanted the toilet, too loud, tired and didn't have her pillow and on and on. I thought it was funny, a lot of the dialogue was over their heads but very amusing. GD kept asking me what I was laughing at.

Katj, loved your report. You are a good Granny.
Cookie, Ral says poor Cookie. Hope you are ok.
Man who inspected Cherokee is interested. Will probably bring wife at weekend. They are from Sydney. A lot will depend on whether she like it or not. Trying not to get our hopes up.
We are having a rest day today. Might poke a few seeds in the veggie patch.

Hopefully she doesn't wear the pants in the house Chookie.

Katj, I've often enjoy kids' movies but feel the same as you - a lot of it goes over their heads.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Chookie.  Hopefully the wife will fall in love with your house.

Katj, when our GD's were smaller they loved to take Grandpa to the kids movies just so they could hear him laughing.  Then come home and tell me how much he enjoyed the movie.
