Chookie - I have now seen your house featured four times in The Age this week so hopefully you will be getting some sort of positive response.

Hi friends,

LOL Chookie love your phone story.
Sad news that FF 2016 isn't happening.I had the time of my life coming to meet some forum friends in 2013. So much fun and treasured memories of the trip.

Thanks for the comments about the competition.I love giving back to this wonderful forum.I've made lifelong friends and cook recipes that people have generously posted.

Morning all. ( some things don't change).
Spent first night in new home at Invermay.  Quite strange really. Exhausted so slept well .
DD and family brought Dinner.  I scraped together enough cutlery and plates and glasses. GC helped unpack car.
Going to be hot today, that is 30 + for us. Glad we have good Air Con.

I'm sure it will take a while to settle in Chookie, at least you slept well, half the battle is won if you get good sleep I reckon.

Good morning everyone.

Chookie I'm glad that the move to your new home went well and that you had a good sleep.

Even though I couldn't make it I'm sorry to hear the FF has been cancelled this year.

Chookie when you have all your things put out and settle into a routine it will soon seem like home for you.
It is going to be lovely being near DD and GC.

Glad to hear the move to your new home went well Chookie.
Sad that the FF has been cancelled. Been trying to think of somewhere where we could all go.
I've been off work again this week, had a bit of a relapse, feel a lot better today. Back to work tomorrow, then have Friday off as its a pupil free day.
I've hardly cooked in the last 2 weeks, luckily I had some frozen meals in the freezer so DH didn't have to do much cooking. He made chookie's fab bolg sauce and said it needed red wine, as we didn't have any golden syrup. One glass for the sauce and the rest for him. I should have taken a photo of him stirring the sauce with a glass of red in his hand.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Isn't that the only way to make bolognaise sauce.  I hope you feel better soon Jenny. Denise, enjoy your class.
