Another friend called over this morning with even more rhubarb. I didn't have the heart to tell him we already had eaten about half a tonne. So I plan to make ILB's rhubarb cake this afternoon and will return some to him in a cake.

CP63. When DD gets her house built we plan to give her a TMX as a house warming gift. She says she only uses it for rice, and pasta when we're away (if we leave it home) but she often mentions what she has cooked on it. Now we have the bag I don't think I'll be leaving it home anymore. Not even when we go away for a couple of weeks.

I agree withyou VHJ. I detest liver and kidney. It will just not stay down in my stomach. At boarding school I was told "I must eat it." I warned of the consequences but was told eat it! It only happened the once. We had it a lot when I was growing up but Mum and Dad never forced me to eat it-but I did have to taste it every time we had it. Not sure if it's the texture or taste.

Julie I used onion flakes that I had bought in Woolies. I looked in my Indian supermarket and they looked similar to me. I ran out with the Tikka paste yesterday so will probably buy them at the Indian supermarket next time.

TheCrone, isn't it wonderful with Book Depository and their free shipping. DD and I buy a lot of books from them.  Quite often they are much cheaper than here.
