Going to try the creamy garlic prawn risotto. After all the great reviews can't wait to taste it.

Forgot to add a photo of my kitchen. So here it is. Rather simple compared to others, but does the job all the same. My pride and joy is my pantry and the tower of Tupperware!

Congratulations Den, awesome effort. It's a few days before the local show here in Geelong. So lots of show cooking for me. Slices, muffins, curd, cupcakes, scones, etc. will be cooked over the next few days. My biggest problem is keeping DH, DS5 & DS3 away from it all so I can pick the best ones to show.

Made this a few times now and the children absolutely love it. It is so easy and I can't  believe I am making my own ice cream. I cant say about the icy bit as it doesn't last long in our house. For a grown ups version I make my friend Nic's Wattleseed Icecream, which is 1 tablespoon of wattleseeds added at the start in lieu of the vanilla. This gives it a maple, coffee, nutty taste that is sooo addictive.

Cookie, jam and cheese on toast is what DH and DS5 had for breakfast this morning. They, like you, just love it but I just can't get my head around it

DH5 only has two things on his list and that's all to do with Lego mining sets. He hasn't changed his mind since the Kmart toy sale catalogue came out in July. DH3 is the hard one he changes his mind daily and wants everything he sees. My little ponies is his latest request and as you can imagine hubby is not impressed!

Just made these and they are much easier than my bread machine recipe and surprisingly nice. They toasted up great. Thanks for a great easy recipe.

My sister (Lee) and I (Kim) were both given short names because Mum and dad never liked the idea of someone having a long name but people calling them by a shortened nickname. The funny thing is most of my teenage and adult life I have been called Kimmy and my sister Lee Wee (not by mum and dad of course) hence the forum name.
