Suggestions and Complaints / Re: What is?« on: January 15, 2009, 05:23:17 am »
Hi,
Here in Australia, we can obtain several brands of "cornflour"and Pammo is right most of them aren't made with corn. One brand that is is "White Wings"which is 100% corn and so is gluten free. This is also a finer texture. Hope this helps Trudy 3154

Thankyou Thermomixer,
In answer to your question I have had my machine for about a year and a half. Both of my daughters have one also. I must admit I don't use mine as often as they do but I think it's just a matter of working out how to convert things and sometimes it's just easier to do it "the old way"Something I must stop!!!!! I had read in this forum that the UK Book "demonstrators Delights"gave you instructions for converting but while I was in the UK last year I purchased one but it doesn't seem to contain this info. Bread / Re: my bread!« on: January 12, 2009, 07:07:00 am »
What you need is a bread tin which here in Adelaide South Australia is available from bread supply shops or some specialty kitchen ware shops. I have two sizes but the smaller one is what you need for the recipe in the book. I also spray water into the over a couple of times during the baking time to help firm the crust.
Hope this helps Trudy 3156

Hi Amanda,
Glad to meet another "book" lover. I also can't resist them. Especially since leaving my job which was at a public library. My Husband is great about it and tells me that you just have to make a couple of things from each book to justify the purchase!!!! Keep enjoying !!!! Trudy South Australia 3157
