I've got this book, but haven't made anything from it yet.  Looks great though :)
My question is, I've previously made Skinnymixers Butter Chicken which is lovely and a huge hit on social media, but I query whether the recipe in the book is the same.  Does anyone know?  I just thought that the spices didn't quite look the same.

I think she's tweaked the recipe a bit - something she's done a few times since she released the recipe on her blog. She has left out the colouring and the fenugreek I think.

Thanks for that KatieJ.  I left out the colouring and couldn't get the fenugreek so my next batch should taste just like the recipe in the new book then :)

I've made it with and without the fenugreek and I couldn't tell the difference.

I've made a few of the recipes from the book:

The butter chicken is amazing - I always leave out the nuts (as DH is allergic) and it still tastes amazing.  Possibly the sauce is a little thinner than it would be if the nuts were added.

The Indian cauliflower rice is lovely.  My DH said it was a revelation!  Something different than the normal plain cauli rice.

DH made the Vindaloo (well he said he was making it, but somehow I ended up doing about 80% of it, but he thinks he made it!).  We put the 10 chillies in and it was very hot, I could only eat a little of it as it was too hot for me.  DH loved it.

The lamb bhuna gosht is probably my favourite curry I've made from the booklet, very flavoursome.  The recipe says it serves 6, but it didn't seem to make a large quantity.

I've made the butter chicken, chicken biryani, beef bhuna gosht and chicken tikka masala so far - we've enjoyed all.

I've just purchased the ebook as well and we are having chicken tikka tonight so I might make the chicken biryani but just with vegetables as an accompaniment for something different.

I have just bought the book and will be making the Biryani but with fish rather than chicken.

I have the book as an ebook and hard copy. I only bought it the other day so I can't wait to go home and try a few things.

After trying the biryani last night I can't wait to try the rest of her recipes. I'm also looking at a few non indian dishes from her blog which sound great.

We love Skinnymixers Indian Cauliflower Rice from this book also.  All of her recipes that I have tried are repeaters.  If you love tasty curries ( and have a large spice collection) do yourselves a favour and try some, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Hi Ladies, I have the Indian TMX book. Is it with getting this one too or would it be a bit of a double up?

Moo I would also get this one. There are only 10 recipes and if you go for the eBook it's only $8 so not a big investment.

I have the Indian book as well moo but yes I think it's worth getting.  It helps having beautiful photos of the completed dishes and they are very flavoursome.

Judy, I jumped on this thread to see if anyone has cooked the lamb korma from page 24 of this book and noticed it is missing from the contents list.

Nikalene is the new Tenina for me. I was so disappointed with Tenina's last book. I'm very much over raw desserts and that's all that's in the book.
I have Nikalene's book and e-book, but haven't got around to making anything from it yet. Thanks for all the reviews!

I made the Beef Madras tonight. It smelt amazing, but the flavours weren't that strong in the end. Really nice, and my children ate it (reluctantly), so that's good. I did everything as per the recipe except for the chilli. I used chilli flakes, but no actual chilli pepper at the start.
