Any recommendations for a quick easy meal for hubby and toddler using staple ingredients.

Are you thinking of using chicken, tuna or anything specific for the main ingredient?

I have moved your question here so hopefully you will receive more answers.

Have you tried Baf's chicken? That does chicken in the varoma with veggies and makes a lovely sauce.
Perhaps have a quick look through main meals and also the all in one meals section and see if something catches your eye.

The warm potato and tuna salad Judy has just posted in salads sounds lovely.
