Sorry to hear that you quit your job Amy but agree with the others you need to tell the boss.
When I was your age and learning to drive my first driving instructor had "wandering hands" I didn't tell anyone but a decision I regret now.It will be very hard, because like you, I just wanted it to go away.

That is sad for you Amy. I can recall a similar incident with a driving instructor CC. He used to make me drive down quiet roads then get out porn and ask me what I thought !! Of course I was horrified and too scared to tell mum as she was paying for lessons.  Needless to say I never passed with him I was so stressed every time I got in the car.

Amy now you have left perhaps you can put it in writing to the boss, even if you don't spell it out but maybe state that you enjoyed time there but felt essential to quit due to inappropriate behavior from another staff member.  He can then probably work it out.

I think that is really good advice GHM. It is less daunting for Amy and aslo lets her boss know why she left a job that she was enjoying.

You still need to report the incident/s Amy as he may of done this before or will do it again if he thinks he can get away with it.
A simple factual account with dates and times. The boss will have to start to wonder if there is more than one report or will in the future if it happens to another employee.  >:(
Definitely you dont owe him any favours and there needs to be a record for his repeat behaviour. Unfortunately it won't count until he has molested, raped or killed a female possibly before there is any hard evidence, but all the same it's your duty so there is a trail of crime. A lot of trouble, but do it. It is an Oprah Winfrey moment , please report him cos I will hound you Amy... He is a felon and you have every right. If you ever need to have someone by your side to walk into his shop and confront him you will not go alone, I will be there and there will be others from here to confront the weakling. You call, we're there in force.

Amy, I would report it, even if its in a letter to your former boss. :-*

I was harassed in a job, 11 years ago. reported it to my boss, who took the time to follow up.

I had enough evidence in my work diaries, and another staff person who backed me up. The guy who bullied me, had to go to anger management courses for the next 12 months... :)

DJ hope you get the job..

Judy Dawn, I wish there was more support for you. You have to work out, how to work the system. :) :)

Oh my life is certainly not boring.
Another baby sitting job for me.....my best friend was rushed into hospital thismorning with extreme pain in her tummy, she passed out at the hospital and started vomiting. Possibly will need emergency surgery to find out what's happening. She has lost so much weight only weighs 45kg for a 40year old is not good. Got to pick her son up from school. Good thing I'm healthy :D

Lets just hope that if something happens to me that I have my friends to help me when in need :)

Dede, it sounds like an episode of Days of our Lives!  You wouldn't believe so much could happen to one person. I hope the rest of the day is uneventful for you - unless of course your sister has her baby!  :)
You were born to stand out, don't waste your life trying to fit in.
