 :D :D :D

Because kids my age are generally immature, self-absorbed, have no respect for anything and have no personality?

Phew... I've actually been worried that my age would come up eventually and I was worried that you guys wouldn't like me anymore if you knew how old (young) I am :(

Well Amy I think officially you are the youngest member. Someone has to be the youngest and that just happens to be you.

So who is the oldest? Or is that rude to ask :D

Amy keep posting away, you seem to be an extremely articulate and caring 17 year old we obviously had no idea how old you were. I hope you aren't put off posting.

Amy the thing I love about the forum is that is made up off people of all ages, who live in different places throughout the world, have different lives and occupations etc, but we all share a love of food and a love of our Thermomix!   You fit in perfectly  ;D
Please keep posting

Amy for a 17 year old you sound very mature and we love having you here. May I ask how you came across the TMX and that you do lots of cooking.
I think there must be some people that are very proud of you. Please keep up the posting, you sound like you have a great sense of humour.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks cookie :-* My mum bought our thermomix when I was about 11. I've always been interested in cooking and baking so I watched her all the time and picked up a lot of techniques and recipes. I've cooked all the meals in this house since I was 13. Mum cooks one occasionally, but I'm usually hanging around helping out.
As for the reasons why, its a long story. I would love to share it with you because I feel very comfortable on the forum and I know you are all my friends. I'd just be worried that it would bore you :-))

Aw shucks... I'm getting warm fuzzies now :D

Count me in, if you are willing to have me.  I know that my weight is just on the cusp of healthy for my age and height. my desire to lose weight is purely vanity. That and as an endurance athlete the lighter I am the faster I go.

I used to weigh about 95kgs and lost a little over 25kgs. Over the last 12 months my eating has degenerated back toward my old habits and I have gained about 7-8 kg. I have manged to lose 5 kg then fell of the wagon again and put 3 kgs back on.

I struggle with sugar. I have a serious addiction to it. Also I love good food generally and I am not good at having only a little.

Dennis

Oh and by the way. Amy you are a very well adjusted teenager and give hope for the future.
