It will be fine thanks Marina. I'm used to it now and I trust the specialist implicitly. Thanks Judy.

It's only 10.30 here so I really haven't done a lot. People are ringing DD instead of me with Car Club dramas. She is getting fed up with it. I don't blame her really. I have been sorting the problems out and a few other car club bits and pieces.
I have done the washing and hung it out. 33

Thats very disappointing Judy. I love white peaches and always make Chookie's White Peach jam.
We had a chicken casserole last night. Tonight will be mince cannelloni with tomato sauce over it. 34

I made the Anzacs from Cookidoo yesterday. I decided to add a few currants. They are ok.

I think most hospitals are severely pushed for staff at the moment.
DD and I did a bit of shopping this morning and had a coffee. 40

I’ve just finished Fiona McIntosh’s The Orphans. It was fantastic. I’ve started Patricia Cornwell’s Livid.

I’ve had my Philips since we all bought them. We use it at least twice a week, if not more. When it dies I will buy another one. Friends have one from Aldi and love it.it takes longer to cook things but doesn’t worry them.

Chit Chat / Re: What are you cooking today?« on: January 13, 2023, 12:40:54 pm »Cookie, the lemon drink is thought to clean out the kidneys. I added a teaspoon of honey and it was very nice. I thought it would do no harm as while living with DD I noticed she did this every morning. She is the fittest 50 year old that I know. I may try this. I have tried it with cider vinegar but it was far too sour for me. I will try lemon juice. It can’t do any harm. 44
Chit Chat / Re: What are you cooking today?« on: January 12, 2023, 11:05:50 am »After seeing the heart specialist yesterday, when he said we must also look after our kidneys and liver. I’ve decided to have a warm drink of the juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon in a cup of filtered water before breakfast. The heart specialist good report is fantastic. What does the lemon juice do please Chookie? I made some of Chookie’s No Fuss rolls early this morning to take to Dwellingup. I added a tablespoon of EVOO and made them as dinner rolls. 45

Well done on your research Chookie.
We drove down to Dwellingup today. My brother has a tree change house down there with a beautiful garden. He goes down most weekends and holidays. https://dwellingup.destinationmurray.com.au/ We had a lovely lunch. |
