I will certainly be trying this one. DH loves stir fried cabbage.  I have always fried mine in a little bit of butter with some onion and bacon and a bit of black pepper.

I made these today and they are so nice.  I just rolled mine into balls and pressed them down with a fork and they were fine.  Thanks for the recipe Megan.

Dinner tonight is a home made meat pie from the freezer and a mixed vegetable casserole.

I made Isi's easy portuguese rolls.  There were 3 electricians still working in the new kitchen, and I was busy baking bread around them, making sure they didn't step in anything as it was proving in the sun.  The bread smelled so wonderful, and the tradies were so impressed with the gorgeous rolls that came out of the oven.  I didn't let on how easy they were to make.  Offered them warm rolls to go with their lunch - always pays to be friends with the workmen!

Many years ago my Mum told me that if you look after your workmen they will always look after you.  My Dad was a railway man and we lived in a railway house so all maintenance was carried out by the railways. We had the best maintained house in the street as the workers were always happy to come to our house because Mum always cooked for them.

It worked for me too when we had the extension built.  The builder put on 1kg and then knocked a considerable amount off the bill for morning and afternoon teas.
