Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Re: Apple Tea Cakes, page 210 New EDC

I have made this recipe multiple times, yes the 2 cakes are challenging when you live alone! But sharing them at work makes them disappear in a flash.
There is a great deal of butter in the recipe which I have reduced a little without issues. The recipe book says the 2nd one is freezable.

Have made the bacon and vegetable soup, first time didn't have mushrooms so left them out added a can of Ardmona chopped tomatoes, and possibly more bacon as I needed to use it up, the result was very yummy. The second time I added half a can of lentils to the recipe and a can of chopped tomatoes, also very yummy.

I have also made these, I found they were a little too garlicky for me, maybe my garlic was very pungent. Nice and easy fakeaway recipe.

After reading all the posts I made this fast and easy recipe for my dinner tonight, then remembered that there was very little here for the topping, so had home made tomato passata, sundried tomatoes, 1 eschalott sliced, mozzarella and avocado. used the hint on Miele oven at intensive bake and it was FANTASTIC!
thanks to all for your hints and tips.

Thanks team, its particularly over cast here, and as I have an electric oven, the boiling water method seems like the only option, Does it work for all recipes? You all are such a knowledgeable and helpful group. I can't believe my luck finding this forum.
