maybe next time I could try a tablespoon of fish sauce, and substitute the rest with the water as you say TMXR. there was way too much saltiness, but the consistency of the sauce was fine.

Oh well, not as bad as the cookbook that Penguin had to pulp with "ground people" in the ingredients.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I thought the 120g was a misprint but added 100 anyway and found it to be fine. We loved that recipe and will be making it again for sure!!!!
We did use bought peanut paste as didnt have homemade which may have made some difference.

I should be getting a look at it on Thursday, but wondered if there was many beef recipes (we have abundant amount), and if they are mainly stew type recipes?

Chicken with Prunes p87 has a thumbs up from us. Lovely served with either rice or mashed potato, veges on the side.
