TM Australia is putting the price up to $1939 as of 1 Feb, so tell your friends who are procrastinating to get a demo done and get their machines before the end of Jan if they are thinking of getting one anyway
-
are they serious??
with all the talk of the economic downturn, and the only reason most people don't buy one being the price, they're insane ??? :o
-
Same here in the UK - it's going up to £799 as of 1st Feb >:( I found out at my training last Thursday, and am not a very happy camper. Apparently there has been no increase for 3.5 years, and they really need to do something to keep up with inflation. In fairness, the increase (in the UK at least, don't know about Oz) is actually below the inflation rate over that period, so I guess I shouldn't grumble ...
-
Interesting, doing the conversions, that's about a $150 (US) difference between GB and OZ.... Wonder why. Furthermore, the price here in the US is about what the OZ price is increasing to... Maybe that explains why they're as rare as hen's teeth here.....
-
maybe we have a bigger customs tax here ....and its further to come from germany than it is to the uk!
-
did everyone(in Oz) get the TM news out today, it has a couple of great kids recipes from Teninas new kids booklet, dont want to post them if you all got it anyway but there is a recipe for health LCM type bars and Ice Cream cone cupcakes
-
Everyone in the UK didn't ;) It would be great if you posted them.
-
true!!! LOL
i will post them now ....well done Tenina for getting some good kids stuff together!
-
yay tenina!!! some gluten free kids stuff next..... ;) ^^
-
there is a savoury gluten free muffin recipe going to be in the book apparantly
-
Baf65, how do I sign up to receive this please? It sounds really good.
-
I can let you know when they come out, I think its start of Feb - am happy to send you one out, I think they are $5
-
Why doesn't each of us let the others know when new books come out in English. Often, if we know that they're available somewhere, the distributor in our country can get hold of them for us. Failing that, we could always help each other out by posting them :)
There's an Indian cooking book being developed by the UK TM team at the moment. I'll let you know when it's out.
-
oh yes please caroline!
-
It all sounds very helpful. Yes please Baf65.
-
Caroline - What cook books do you have in UK? I have been trying to find out so i can order some for myself and my customers but i cant find a list or even any Hints anywhere on the net!
Sounds like you have some different ones to us and more!
-
We only have 3 UK ones at the moment.
We have :
Everyday cooking for every Family - which is the one which comes with the TM. It's quite different to the Ozzie one, though. I was concerned that there'd be too many duplications and that I'd have wasted my money when I bought the Australian one, but actually I love having both, and have never regretted it.
Then there is the Demonstrator Delights booklet, which I also like.
Finally we have Full Steam Ahead. That's the same as the Australian one, though, just that it's available to buy.
As I think I mentioned earlier, there is an Indian cookery book coming out sometime this year. I'll let everyone know when it's out.
Does anyone have access to the Canadian cookbook?? I gather that it has a lot of Chinese recipes in, which would be great.

Okay, who spotted the deliberate mistake in my last post? ;D All I can say is that I hadn't had time to drink my cup of coffee yet! I obviously didn't mean Everyday Cooking ... as this is Australian. I meant to say
Fast and Easy Cooking
which is the UK book. Sorry about that! :-[
