Cookie, I love the look of the Kringle. Well done.
Yesterday was my DS birthday. We had an informal family get together. I cooked Chicken in butter sauce which I bought in a packet from the Supermarket. It was boneless and very nice. I steamed veggies in the Varoma and served with brown rice. I also made a berry and apple crumble. They bought a box of small biscuits and cakes from Brunettis in Lygon St.

I made the Apple and Cinnamon Hot Cross Buns from Cookidoo. They were ok but I prefer Chookie’s recipe.

I made a Classic loaf, some no fuss rolls and some biscuits today.

They are oatmeal raisin cookies and have molasses in.
https://sugarspunrun.com/oatmeal-raisin-cookies/ It is a US recipe so the tablespoon is only 15ml.

Had visitors for lunch yesterday. Made Butter Chicken, sauce from a bottle, ( no flavour ) so added extra spices. Easy and they loved it. Served with Black Pepper and Sage Risotto from my Blog and a packet of bought salad to which I added heaps of Avocado.
I’ve always made everything from scratch. This new me is easier but when I’m settled I will return to my old ways. I I also made fresh No Fuss rolls,  nothing like fresh bread. To my amazement they ate most of them and DD finished off all the leftovers when she called in.

Yesterday my Sri Lankan neighbours brought in a prepared meal for my dinner. ( new experience for me) curried chicken and egg Hoppers. The Hoppers are a completely new experience. Will certainly have a go. Ni cooking today. Leftovers.

RTE's coconut lemon cake was easy and delicious.  Margaret, the mixed bean jambalaya was also delicious and may well be suitable for you - best of all, it was very easy and quick.  As it is a recipe out of the Revive cafe cookbook I cannot put the recipe on here, but I will send it to you in the next day or two so watch your message link.

Marina, that's very kind of you.  Thank you.    Very little cooking happening here, just meal preparation.

Now in your message box.  I think I have copied it correctly, but let me know if it 'reads' strangely.

I also had to Google it, with the help of my 6 year old friend from next door.
Yesterday GS called in while I was making SD crumpets. He ate 4.
I shredded the leftover butter chicken, made Zoodles and added all to some cooked pasta with the sauce. Made a lovely meal.

Lots of pears on the ground so stewed heaps that I’d collected earlier and collected more . They turn yellow very quickly. Stewed pears I. The freezer now , love this I just keep the TMX going and prepare the next batch , use extra juice to drink or possibly in a cake . Warm home grown pear cooking juice is very nice .

I made a Classic loaf today, prepared a rye SD loaf to rise in the fridge and made some Jam Drops. They have a bit of almond meal in them so I did my own but left the skins on.
