As you can see there are only 2 left.

Today I made a Lemon Cake and Chookie's Lemon Spread.  The kangaroos have eaten all the leaves off DS small lemon tree and have now started on the lemons so DS brought me in a large bag and said can you use these.  I'm not sure what else I will do with them yet.

Cake and lemon spread look great .
Made a fruit sponge on Cookidoo, used a few blueberries and frozen fresh blackberries . So easy , hopefully DMIL will enjoy as her birthday cake today .
Roast leg lamb for the shearer’s today and yesterday I made Milo muffins  , they are ok but I think I may have beaten them for to long ,they taste doughy , any idea why ?

Sorry I can’t help with the muffins KAtie. Did you barely combine the mixtures? I use buttermilk in mine and it seems to keep them lovely and soft.
I’ve made some Olive and Fetta Rolls today. I also made Peanut Biscuits yesterday.

I nearly forgot, I made some Strawberry Scrolls a couple of days ago. They are delicious.

It sounds like you have a great relationship with DD Margaret.

Today I made a B & B pudding and a batch of chicken bone broth veggie soup.

What great cooking, thanks for sharing. I miss baking very much. Instead of doing  jobs to ready house for sale, I cooked a batch of Tahini biscuits. Commercial biscuits are awful. I have made quite a lot of SD crumpets. DD has a pie machine and I cook them in this. I’m quite certain that when we buy a new home I’m going to have to put a good oven in. probably Meile.

Great baking cookie.

Chookie, I’m sure the first thing you’ll check out when looking for a new home will be the kitchen. A decent oven is essential for good cooks.

Something lovely to look forward to Chookie. I've found myself baking a lot lately. Today I plan to make some more of the little apple pies as I didn't get to ;it yesterday.

I’ve been making a bit of bread and some biscuits. I’ve been substituting 1/4 of oil for butter in some biscuit recipes. Avacado and walnut work particually well. I started doing this to use up the various oil I had. I add hemp powder and black sesame seeds to my Tahini biscuit recipe. Very nice. Also added Walnut oil to my Crisp Oatmeal recipe. Took longer to bake but crisp and tasty.
