The yeast has been left out of the method.  Not sure where it should have been added.  ???

Thanks for that - we'll give it a go.  Got some notes from a Curries & Flat Bread cooking class with Naan, puris and chapatis, so am keen to give this a go.

Tenina, thanks for this recipe (I used the original version from your website.)

I've never made naan bread before (like a lot of things in life before TMX!) so it was immensely satisfying both to have made it myself and for it to have turned out so well!

At first when they were cooked they puffed up quite high almost like a pocket-bread but after they'd sat for a short while they came down flat and looked perfect  :D

We ate them with dahl, rice and yoghurt.

Used this recipe from Tenina's site to make the naan. A great recipe (if you use the original which does not leave out the yeast) that tastes great and works just as it should.

I am wondering if I can prepare this naan bread early in anyway, for a dinner party in two days time. Would the best option be to make the dough, freeze it, and then thaw it on the day of cooking, or could I just keep it in the fridge for two days and then let it rise, (or should I let it rise first?) or could I cook them a day ahead and then just reheat them in the microwave or something? Or is it just best to do it all on the evening of eating? Thanks :)
