Buying a second hand TM6?
« on: September 24, 2022, 02:16:21 am »
Hi guys

I have a chance to buy a second-hand TM6 in beautiful condition and pretty cheap.
Can I have some tips on what is good to check before buying one?
Thank you

Firstly I would look at the price. Why is the person selling it?
Is there any warranty left on it?
Make sure it. Connects to wifi and all works ok.
Make sure all the things on it work. Eg the egg boiling, thickening, quick clean etc.

I’m sure I will think of some more. 😀😀

There is no warranty anymore. She said she doesn't use it very often that's why she selling it.
Can I check the wifi without connecting to Cookidoo account?
I just found a YouTube video on how to check the egg boiling, but can't find the quick cleaning. Do you mean precleaning mode?
And how to check the thickening mode? Do I need to cook a sauce? Can you send me a simple recipe? I'm a man without cooking experience

Sorry, yes I do mean the pre cleaning mode.
If you are prepared to pay what the person is asking I’d go for it.
If the person seems genuine to you.  Quite a lot of people think the thermomix will make them a good cook by magic. It’s not that easy. 😀😀😀
