Review from Quick Fix : Every Occasion, Tomato Sauce pge 223

It doesn't sound long does it?  I'll compare it to the one I make when I get home to see if there is any reason it will only last 2 weeks.
Perhaps those who've made it can let us know if they've kept it longer.

Just finished my batch, yummy. Though it's quite orange colour. The tomatoes were fresh from garden, lovely red colouring, though not Roma. I added a total of 280g tomato paste, nearly double. I usually make the recipe from thermomix hd app, which has red capsicum in it & turns out "redder". I am really happy with flavour & texture, just not the colour. Next time I'm going to try jigging the two recipes together.
Any feedback if it keeps longer would be much appreciated.

BurgerB I added a red capsicum to mine and it was a beautiful red.

I have kept my sauce in a sterilized glass jar in the fridge and 3 months later is still fine!  It does last longer than two weeks.

Used mine as a dipping sauce for Arancini balls on Thursday night and was delish 😛😛😛

Blitzing the cooked onion is what makes a red sauce go orange.

Thanks for bumpking this.  I miss so many great recipes because there are just so many posted every day now and my list continues to grown.  Will get on to this one pronto though as it seems very popular.
